Macon County Airport
Macon County Airport is a public use airport in Macon County, North Carolina, United States. == Facilities and aircraft ==
Macon County Airport covers an area of 95 acres (38 ha) at an elevation of 2,020 feet (616 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 7/25 with an asphalt surface measuring 4,400 by 75 feet (1,341 x 23 m).〔
For the 12-month period ending July 27, 2011, the airport had 9,250 aircraft operations, an average of 25 per day: 97% general aviation and 3% military.
At that time there were 29 aircraft based at this airport: 83% single-engine and 17% multi-engine.〔
